Dubai, UAE

Many people don’t know this but Dubai is 1 of 7 emirates (cities) that make up the UAE and it is not the biggest or the capital. The others include; Abu Dhabi (Capital), Ajman, Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain. Dubai is best known for its ultramodern architecture, grand shopping in the worlds largest mall and a lively nightlife scene that attracts some of the biggest names in the entertainment and music industry. The city was built on a desert and is so fascinating because the whole city was built into what it is today due to the discovery of oil in 1966.

The Burj Khalifa is the worlds tallest building, standing at an impressive 830m (2,723 feet) and dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies the Dubai Fountain which is large and has jets and lights that continuously put on a show that is choreographed to music. Very impressive I must say!

The amount of wealth and luxury living in Dubai is breathtaking and can’t be compared to anything else in the world. Even some of the police cars in their fleet used on a daily basis are exotic, 1 of a kind and valued in the hundreds of millions. This list includes; a Lamborghini Aventador, a Ferrari, a Bentley Continental, 2 McLarens, an Aston Martin, BMWs and Mercedes Benz’s.

Because the UAE is a very religion based country and Islam is practiced very strictly among all the government officials, police & military, residents, businesses, tourists and everything else, you have to be extra careful when you get there to not say or do anything that could offend them and could land you in some major trouble.

With so many different cultures and people in Dubai, its difficult to put the experience in words and paint a picture for you on how beautiful it is, so i will let this video i found do it for me. Enjoy! :)
