No one in Greece can choose to not vote. Voting is required by law for every citizen who is 18 or older. Santorini is a famous island with stunning cliffs and beautiful white houses. A favorite Greek food is the gyro. It consists of pita bread fresh lettuce, tomato, shredded pork and French fries drenched in a special sauce called tzatziki. The best thing in my opinion about Greece is all of the archeology and museums one can visit. The word “barbarian” comes from Greek barbaroi, which means people who don’t speak Greek and therefore sound like they’re saying “bar-bar-bar-bar.
